Fantasy Battles

Welcome to Fantasy Battles, turn-based tactical game where 2 players (AI or human) control their units on randomly generated arenas. This is a free time project for me and very small team of talented people, so the first and foremost goal is to have fun during the process, both development and gameplay. I will eventually upload new builds with bugfixes and additional content. Mobile version is not planned at the moment.

Game features:

• 8 different arena types
• 15 playable units, both melee and ranged (including the ever-persistent free skeleton model from the Asset Store)
• Optional neutral units that will attack anyone on sight
• 6 types of randomly spawned invisible traps
• 4 types of randomly spawned consumable items
• 2 possible battle objectives, either to defeat all enemy units, or to defeat enemy Orb Bearer (chess king analogue, has no visual distinction)
• Various unit passive abilities that will be applied when certain conditions are met
• Server based multiplayer, you can generate battle arena and invite your friend to join (or just wait for the random opponent)

What is planned for the future:

• At least 1 storyline campaign
• Proper tutorial for base game mechanics
• Various artifacts to be collected on the arena or distributed before the battle

Known issues and limitations:

• This is a project in early access, so expect occasional bugs and weird behavior
• Multiplayer: if a player has disconnected during the battle, there's no way to reconnect and continue
• Multiplayer: due to 3rd party network engine, max online users are currently capped at 20 (restriction of the free plan)
